CONTENTS & CONTAINER, Exploring Internal Support for External Form: The Organs, Membranes and Skeleton

The Upper Body, Limbs and Core

The Lower Body, Limbs, and Central Axis

Contents and Container:
Exploring Internal Support for External Form

This two part series will explore the dynamic relationship between the organs, membranes, connective tissue, and the skeleton. We will experience new pathways of movement connectivity, fluidity, and internal support. Finding ease, strength, and core support from the inside out, as well as imbalances between the contents and container.

Using embodiment as the basis of our practice, we will grow asana and sequences from simple somatic explorations. Classes will draw from Body-Mind Centering™ principles, including embodied anatomy, embryology, and developmental movement. Classes are suitable for students from all streams of yoga and experience.
